Privacy Policy

This page explains how Guru IT Services collects, uses, protects, and manages information across our website, SaaS products, and WhatsApp business messaging workflows.

1. Introduction

Guru IT Services provides AI automation services, SaaS products, and business messaging products, including Chatvra, a WhatsApp messaging and automation workspace for businesses.

This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, store, and protect information when you use our website, request a demo, contact us, use our products, or communicate with a business through WhatsApp workflows powered by our products.

By using our website or services, you acknowledge that your information will be handled as described in this Privacy Policy.

2. Information We Collect

We collect only the information reasonably required to provide our website, products, services, support, and business communication workflows.

- Contact and identity information such as name, business name, email address, phone number, job role, and inquiry details submitted through forms or onboarding flows.

- WhatsApp messaging information when you interact with a business through Chatvra or related WhatsApp automation workflows, such as your phone number, message content, message status, timestamps, opt-in status, opt-out requests, and conversation history needed to support the communication.

- Product usage and technical information such as login activity, device/browser details, IP address, feature usage, error logs, and security events.

- Configuration information provided by business customers, such as message templates, automation rules, campaign labels, team users, customer tags, and integration settings.

We do not intentionally request sensitive identifiers such as full payment card numbers, government identity numbers, financial account numbers, or highly sensitive health information through WhatsApp messages.

3. WhatsApp Consent and Opt-In

For WhatsApp messaging, businesses using our products must collect consent before sending business-initiated messages to a person on WhatsApp.

Consent must be clear, affirmative, and connected to the business that will send the messages. The user should understand that they are agreeing to receive WhatsApp messages from that business and, where relevant, the categories of messages they may receive, such as support updates, reminders, order updates, product information, service notifications, or marketing offers.

Businesses must not upload, message, or target contacts who have not provided a valid phone number and appropriate permission to be contacted.

Users can opt out of WhatsApp communications at any time by replying with words such as STOP, UNSUBSCRIBE, OPT OUT, or by contacting the business through the support details provided in the message or business profile. Businesses using our products are responsible for honoring opt-out requests promptly.

We may help businesses store consent records, opt-out records, timestamps, message categories, and related audit information so they can demonstrate responsible communication practices.

4. How We Use Information

We use information to operate, secure, and improve our website, products, and services.

- To respond to inquiries, provide demos, onboard customers, and deliver support.

- To enable Chatvra and related products to send, receive, organize, automate, and report on WhatsApp business messages.

- To manage opt-in, opt-out, customer preferences, automation rules, team access, templates, and message delivery status.

- To monitor service reliability, prevent abuse, protect accounts, troubleshoot issues, and comply with applicable law and platform requirements.

- To improve product functionality, user experience, and business workflows.

We do not sell personal information. We do not use WhatsApp message data for unrelated advertising or unrelated profiling.

5. WhatsApp, Meta, and Third-Party Services

Chatvra and related WhatsApp automation services may rely on the WhatsApp Business Platform, Meta technologies, hosting providers, analytics tools, email services, CRM tools, payment providers, and other service providers required to operate the product.

WhatsApp and Meta may process information according to their own terms, policies, and technical requirements. Businesses using WhatsApp Business features are responsible for following applicable WhatsApp Business Messaging Policy, WhatsApp Business Terms, Meta platform requirements, and local laws.

Where we act as a service provider or processor for a business customer, we process customer and end-user information according to that customer's instructions, our agreement with the customer, and applicable law.

6. Data Storage and Retention

Information may be stored in secure cloud systems, product databases, logs, or local browser/device storage depending on the service feature.

We retain information only for as long as reasonably needed to provide the service, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, maintain security, support audit records, or meet contractual requirements.

WhatsApp conversation records, consent records, template records, delivery logs, and opt-out records may be retained to support business operations, compliance, abuse prevention, and customer support.

Business customers may request deletion or export of their account data subject to applicable law, technical limitations, active contractual obligations, and legitimate security or compliance needs.

7. Data Sharing

We may share information with service providers that help us deliver hosting, messaging, analytics, security, customer support, billing, email, and product infrastructure.

We may share information with Meta/WhatsApp or connected providers where necessary to deliver WhatsApp Business Platform functionality.

We may disclose information if required by law, legal process, regulatory request, enforcement request, or to protect the rights, safety, security, and integrity of Guru IT Services, our customers, users, Meta/WhatsApp services, or the public.

We do not sell, rent, or trade user data.

8. Data Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards designed to protect information against unauthorized access, loss, misuse, alteration, or disclosure.

These safeguards may include access controls, role-based permissions, secure hosting, encryption in transit where supported, operational monitoring, and account security practices.

No system can guarantee complete security, and users and business customers are responsible for using strong passwords, limiting team access, and protecting account credentials.

9. User Choices and Rights

You may request access, correction, deletion, or restriction of your personal information by contacting us. Some requests may need to be handled by the business that originally collected your information and used our product to communicate with you.

For WhatsApp communications, you may opt out at any time by replying STOP, UNSUBSCRIBE, OPT OUT, or by using the support contact provided by the business.

You can stop using our website or products at any time. Business account administrators can manage users, integrations, campaigns, automations, and stored customer information within the product where available.

10. Children's Privacy

Our products and services are intended for business use and are not directed to children.

Businesses using our products must not knowingly send WhatsApp messages to children or use our services in ways that violate age, consent, or child privacy laws.

11. Prohibited and Sensitive Uses

Businesses may not use our products to send spam, misleading content, unlawful content, discriminatory content, or content that violates WhatsApp, Meta, or applicable legal requirements.

Businesses must not use our products to request or transmit highly sensitive identifiers, prohibited commerce content, restricted goods or services, or regulated content unless they have all required permissions and the use is allowed by applicable law and platform policy.

We may suspend or restrict use of our products if we believe the product is being used in a way that violates law, platform policy, user consent, security requirements, or responsible messaging standards.
